The staff of www.CleanupDirectory.com has been working hard to improve our rankings with the major search engines.  In light of our efforts, CleanupDirectory.com is on pace to receive over 700 more unique visitors this month than it did in August 2010.  And, we’re not done yet!

Just a few days ago, we completed a major upgrade to our directory.  Although most of the upgrade has been invisible to our members and the general public, it will greatly improve our key word position within the seach engine results pages.  Already we’re starting to show strong results for many industry keywords when combined with various city and state search combinations.  As a result, we’ve welcomed more visitors to our directory than ever before.

While I have your attention, there are several states within our directory that have no listings.  If you service more than one state, you may want to consider adding another listing for that state.  Although you can list several cities and states in the text of one listing page (ie. we provide crime scene cleanup services to Chicago, New York City and San Diego), the best option is to have your company listed several times within CleanupDirectory.com.  If you take the time to create a well-written page, chances are it will be indexed by several of the search engines.  Why not have two or three listing pages, all indexed by Google, Bing and Yahoo.  The more exposure you create for your company, the more business you will receive.
